About Me
Hey, I’m Evie—artist, designer, and the creative force behind Studio Squeezy.
Studio Squeezy comes from my artist name, Lemon Squeezy Evie (or LMNSQZEVIE), which traces back to a childhood nickname my mum used to call me: Evie Beevy Lemon Squeezy. She’s always been one of my biggest creative champions—so much so that the original LMNSQZEVIE logo was designed using her handwriting. Creativity runs deep in my family, and I owe so much of my artistic drive to both my parents, but my mum? She always went the extra mile to nurture it.
By day, I’m a graphic designer at Peter Tyson Carlisle, managing design projects across the company, occasionally for our Newcastle branch and soon for our Workington store. My role is shaped by the brands I design within, which comes with its own challenges but has taught me so much about adaptability, branding, and communication through design. I’ve worked on rebrand rollouts, website reskins, VIP members club design, email campaigns, social media management, content creation, in-store POS and event designs, digital screen ads, billboards—you name it.
Outside of work, I’m always creating. Oil painting is my main passion, and over the past four years, I’ve been refining my style, figuring out my niche. In 2025, my goal is to be more intentional with my commissions—focusing on work that truly aligns with my artistic direction rather than saying yes to everything.
Illustration often finds its way into my personal design projects, and while I have a clean, structured design style professionally, I love bringing in artistic elements when the project allows. Photography is another creative outlet I’m exploring, particularly 35mm film. There’s something about capturing everyday moments in a raw, unfiltered way that really resonates with me. It’s a hobby for now, but who knows where it could lead?
Ultimately, my goal is to take Studio Squeezy full-time—to build it into an art and design studio where I can take on a range of creative projects. For now, I’m learning, growing, and seeing where the journey takes me.
